
Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and Co unveiled 2020 European Championships official Adidas match ball for next summer tournament.
The 28-year-old France international has endured a frustrating start to the season as he has been restricted to just six appearances in all competitions after suffering an ankle injury but former Leicester City star was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s incredible 4-4 draw at home to Ajax on Tuesday night.Kante was attending to help promote the ball as he and team-mates Michy Batshuayi and Kepa Arrizabalaga got a sense of the ball they will be dealing with in the summer tournament for France, Belgium, and Spain respectively.
Everton forward Moise Kean turned up to the Adidas showcase while Manchester United women’s ace Katie Zelem joined to give the ball a test at an event in south London.The official match ball ‘Uniforia’ for UEFA Euro 2020 drawing inspiration from the revamped format will be implemented for the quadrennial tournament in the named in honour of the unity and the euphoria that football can bring, the ball is designed to celebrate the togetherness that next years competition will inspire across the continent.Euro 2020 will be held across 12 different cities for the first time ever with London, Glasgow, Dublin, Bilbao, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, St. Petersburg, Munich, Budapest, Rome, Bucharest and Baku hosting a match but final to take place in London at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 12 July.
